Transfer to the hotel in Colombo. In the afternoon set out on a city tour of Colombo. Visit the vividly colorful Gangarama Temple cluttered with artifacts, and the Colombo National Museum. Don’t miss out the man-eater of Punani displayed at the National Museum of Natural History.

Enjoy a trip to the ruins of Yapahuwa Kingdom. The island was ruled from here for a little over a decade during the latter half of the 13th century. Ruins of the citadel can be seen today around a 90 m high boulder. Later on move on to Anuradhapura, the first and the longest lived kingdom of ancient Sri Lanka. Visit the sacred Bo tree – the oldest historically documented flowering tree in the world and the colossal Jetavanarama Stupa – one of the tallest structures of the ancient world. Rise up early this morning for an exciting hot air balloon ride in the neighboring town Kandalama. With the first beams of light, hop into the basket and take in the amazing views of the landscapes as we glide over Dambulla Cave Temple and Kandalama Lake on an hour-long flight. Later on return to the hotel for a delicious breakfast. On the way to Kandy, visit the 2000 year old, UNESCO-listed cave temple in Dambulla. Walls and ceilings of the 05 caves here are coated in centuries old murals. Thereafter take an informative guided walk in a spice garden in Matale. Here you can pick a lesson on how to prepare local dishes using tropical spices too. Transfer to the hotel in Kandy. In the afternoon embark on a city tour. The bustling city offers great shopping opportunities too. In the evening enjoy a Cultural show followed by a visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic.

This morning hop aboard a scenic train bound for Nuwara Eliya, which offers spectacular views of endless lush tea fields, waterfalls, reservoirs and a countless number of tunnels. On the way to your hotel, visit a tea factory. Factory fresh tea can be purchased at the factory outlet here. In the afternoon enjoy a city tour of Nuwara Eliya.

Rise up early this morning for a hike in the Horton Plains National Park. The route lies through the Worlds End, a scary precipice of an 870 m sheer drop and the beautiful Bakers Falls. Spend the second half of the day at leisure, exploring the city on your own or relaxing at the hotel.

Transfer to your accommodation in Hatton, a town located 35 km away from the Sri Pāda mountain, commonly known as the Adam’s Peak. View the Devon and St Claire Falls on the way. Around midnight mount Adam’s Peak escorted by a Sherpa.

By about 09 am reach back the foothill and be transferred back to the hotel in Hatton. Have your delicious breakfast and catch some sleep. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

This morning be transferred to the hotel in Udawalawe. In the afternoon set out on a thrilling jeep safari in the Udawalawe National Park. A large variety of endemic as well as migrant birds can be seen here apart from mugger crocodiles, sambar deer, leopards, wild boar and elephants.

Leave for the hotel in Deniyaya, perched on a tea plantation right by the border of the Sinharaja Rain Forest. You may choose between 02.5 hour long waterfall trail which begins at 03 PM and the 03 hour long main nature trail next morning at 10 AM. Apart from them, the resort hosts an exclusive 01 hour long night trail which begins at 06 PM. The night trail is more of a unique experience rather than an effort to spot animal life.

Soak up the colonial splendor of the magnificent Dutch Fort of Galle, known to be the best preserved colonial sea fort in Asia, as we take a walk down its cobbled streets and along ramparts this morning. Among the historic landmarks within is the reputedly oldest breadfruit tree in the island. Later on depart for your exciting beach break on the Bentota beach.
