Fort Frederick walk
Built by the Portuguese in 1623 and expanded by the Dutch and British, Fort Frederick guards the headland leading to Swami Rock. Spotted deer roam freely along the road inside, and you'll pass colonial cannons, barracks and ancient gateways en route to Koneswaram.
