Japanese Peace Pagoda
Built by Japanese monks in 2005 on the summit of Rumassala Hill, the pure-white Peace Pagoda is one of dozens of Buddhist peace stupas around the world. The short climb rewards you with sweeping views over Unawatuna beach, Galle Fort in the distance and the surrounding jungle-covered headland.
