- Step 01
Day 1 — Arrival → Anuradhapura
Morning arrival: proceed directly to Anuradhapura. Evening arrival: overnight in Negombo first. Optional Wilpattu National Park safari — Sri Lanka's largest park, famous for its 'villus' and home to leopards, sloth bears, elephants, deer, crocodiles and birdlife. Overnight in Anuradhapura.

Day 2 — Anuradhapura → Mihintale → Habarana
Explore Anuradhapura Ancient City (UNESCO) including Sri Maha Bodhi (world's oldest historically documented tree), Ruwanwelisaya, Jetavanaramaya and Thuparamaya. Visit Mihintale, the cradle of Buddhism in Sri Lanka, climbing the stone stairway to ancient shrines and meditation sites. Overnight in Habarana.

Day 3 — Sigiriya & Village Experience
Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress (UNESCO) — 5th-century citadel of King Kashyapa with frescoes, water gardens and panoramic summit views (best at sunrise or late afternoon). Optional traditional village tour with bullock cart ride, catamaran boat ride, cooking demonstration and authentic Sri Lankan lunch. Overnight in Habarana.

Day 4 — Habarana → Dambulla → Matale → Kandy
Visit Dambulla Cave Temple — Sri Lanka's largest cave temple complex with 5 caves and 150+ Buddha statues over 2,000 years old. Continue to a Matale spice garden to learn about cinnamon, cardamom, pepper, cloves and nutmeg. In Kandy, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic and enjoy a traditional Kandyan cultural dance with drumming, acrobatics and fire-walking. Overnight in Kandy.

Day 5 — Kandy → Nuwara Eliya
Travel through picturesque hill country and tea plantations. Visit a tea factory to learn the tea-making process with a tasting of Ceylon Tea. Stop at the scenic Ramboda Falls. In Nuwara Eliya, enjoy lakeside walks and boating at Gregory Lake. Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 6 — Nuwara Eliya → Ella by Scenic Train
Board the famous Nanu Oya → Ella train, one of the world's most beautiful railway journeys, through rolling tea estates, mist-covered mountains, tunnels, forests and villages. Overnight in Ella.
- Step 07
Day 7 — Ella Sightseeing
Visit the iconic Nine Arches Bridge surrounded by tea plantations. Hike Little Adam's Peak for panoramic valley views. Optional: Ravana Falls, Flying Ravana Zipline and Ella Gap viewpoint. Overnight in Ella.
- Step 08
Day 8 — Ella → Galle
Scenic drive from hill country to the southern coast. Optional Yala National Park safari — famous for its leopard density, plus elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, deer and birdlife. Continue to Galle. Overnight in Galle.
- Step 09
Day 9 — Galle Sightseeing
Explore Galle Fort (UNESCO) — Portuguese/Dutch-era colonial streets, boutiques, cafés and museums. Visit a turtle hatchery to learn about sea turtle conservation and see rescued turtles and hatchlings. Overnight in Galle.
- Step 10
Day 10 — Galle → Colombo Airport
After breakfast, transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure flight.
