Full Itinerary

1. Step 01

   Day 1 — Arrival in Negombo

   Meet and greet at the airport. Private transfer to Negombo. Relax and unwind at a beach hotel. Overnight in Negombo.

2. Step 02

   Day 2 — Negombo → Wilpattu

   Breakfast at the hotel, then drive to Wilpattu National Park. Afternoon safari in Sri Lanka's largest national park, renowned for its diverse wildlife and natural lakes ('villus'). Overnight near Wilpattu.

3. Step 03

   Day 3 — Wilpattu → Sigiriya

   Drive through Sri Lanka's Cultural Triangle toward Sigiriya, with optional visits to historical and cultural attractions en route. Overnight in Sigiriya.

4. Step 04

   Day 4 — Minneriya Safari

   Morning at leisure or optional visit to Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Afternoon safari in Minneriya National Park to experience the famous 'Gathering', where hundreds of wild elephants congregate around the reservoir during the dry season. Overnight in Sigiriya.

5. Step 05

   Day 5 — Sigiriya → Yala

   Breakfast and departure for Yala. Check in to your hotel. Evening safari in Yala National Park, famous for having one of the world's highest leopard densities. Overnight in Yala.

6. Step 06

   Day 6 — Yala → Udawalawe

   Drive to Udawalawe National Park. Optional afternoon safari to spot elephants, water buffalo, crocodiles and a variety of birdlife. Overnight in Udawalawe.

7. Step 07

   Day 7 — Udawalawe → Mirissa

   Morning visit to the Elephant Transit Home (optional). Drive south to the coastal town of Mirissa. Relax on the beach and enjoy the tropical atmosphere. Overnight in Mirissa.

8. Step 08

   Day 8 — Mirissa → Airport

   Breakfast at the hotel. Leisure time depending on flight schedule. Transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport for departure.
