About Hatton

Set at 1,270 m in the western hills, Hatton is the gateway to Sri Lanka's most famous tea country. Restored colonial planter bungalows overlook the Castlereagh Reservoir, working tea factories still process leaves the old British way, and pilgrims arrive year-round to climb the sacred cone of Adam's Peak (Sri Pada) for the sunrise from its 2,243 m summit.
