Dambatenne Tea Factory
Sir Thomas Lipton built the Dambatenne tea factory in 1890 and it has been operating almost continuously ever since. A guided tour walks you through withering lofts, rolling machines and drying floors, ending with a tasting of the estate's own black tea. It's also the starting point for the walk up to Lipton's Seat.
