Lipton's Seat sunrise
Perched at 1,970 m above sea level, Lipton's Seat is where Sir Thomas Lipton famously sat to survey his tea empire in the 1890s. On clear mornings before the mist rolls in around 10 am, you can see five Sri Lankan provinces and even the southern coast. Walk or tuk-tuk up from the Dambatenne tea factory at dawn.
