About 28 km from Ella off the Mahiyanganaya road, Dunhinda Falls plunges 64 m into a jungle gorge. Unlike many roadside waterfalls, this one is reached by a 1 km forest trail lined with tea and sweet stalls — the walk itself, chatting with locals and passing forest streams, is half the reward.
